Kosnoski Eye Care, Inc. specializes in high quality Primary Eye Care. We provide treatment for Glaucoma and Diabetic Eye Disease. Our optometric physicians also provide services for Pediatric Eye Care, Contact Lenses, and Glasses.
Dr. Edward Kosnoski was raised in Kent, Washington. He graduated from Kentridge High School in 1988, Washington State University in 1992, and Pacific University College of Optometry in 1998. Upon graduation, he joined Kosnoski Eye Care, specializing in primary eye care, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and ocular disease.
Dr. Kosnoski sees patients in all four locations. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington, with emphasis on state and federal legislative issues. Dr. Kosnoski and his wife, Angela, live in Seattle with their two children.
Dr. Natalie Choi was born and raised in southern California. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Science at UCLA, and Doctorate of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley. Upon graduation, Dr. Choi moved from California and joined Kosnoski Eye Care in 2008.
Dr. Choi’s clinical training includes work at the American Lake Veterans Hospital in Tacoma, WA and Castle Family Health Center in Atwater, CA, where she focused on ocular disease and family eye health care. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to bring eye care to the under-served communities in Thailand and Mexico. Dr. Choi sees patients of all ages, including pediatric eye examinations, in each of the clinics. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington.
Dr. Seth Bruinsma has been practicing full scope optometry since 2007. He is well-versed in treating eye diseases ranging from Diabetes and Glaucoma to Dry eye and Allergies. Dr. Bruinsma graduated from Puyallup High School in Puyallup, WA. After completing a BS at the University of Washington he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Bruinsma now lives in Puyallup with his wife and three children.
Dr. Sonia Kaur was born in Punjab, India and moved to California with her family at a young age. She then moved to Seattle in 1995. In 2008, she completed her undergraduate studies and got a B.A. from University of Washington in Seattle, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Minority Studies.
Dr. Kaur then went on to graduate from NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her Doctorate in Optometry and a B.S. in Vision Science in 2012. During her studies there, she did extensive clinical rotations in ocular disease. Her rotation experience included a Specialty Care Diabetic Clinic through NOVA and also at the Dorn Veteran’s Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Upon graduation in 2012, Dr. Kaur returned to the Pacific Northwest and began practicing primary care optometry, with a special interest in ocular disease, including diagnosis and management of Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and from all walks of life.
Dr. Kaur resides in Auburn, WA with her husband. She enjoys being involved in the community and serves as a mentor for many college-bound kids. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga and football–GO HAWKS!!
