Kent Contact Lenses

The contact lenses field has come a long way in recent years, and now there are contact lenses that will work for virtually any individual. It used to be that contact lenses were primarily worn by those with light prescriptions, and those with strong prescriptions were cursed to wear eyeglasses forever. This is no longer true as contact lenses can correct astigmatisms, extremely poor vision and misshapen corneas.

Get Your Contact Lenses Fit at Our Kent Location
We here at Kosnoski Eye Care, Inc. have been in the optometry business for 60 years. Our original office opened in downtown Kent in 1949 and we are proud to still be serving patients out of this location today. Kent residents can visit our convenient office, Kent Vision Clinic, in downtown Kent, or have the option of seeing our doctors at our Auburn Vision Clinic or our Fairwood Vision Clinic.

Our optometrists can write you an appropriate prescription to correct your vision after a full examination, and then fit you for comfortable contact lenses. A contact lens fits over the cornea of the eye, so an optometrist needs to determine if your eyes are suitable for contact lenses, and if so, which type of lenses would be best for you.

Contact lenses come in a variety of options; our Kent optometrists can make a recommendation for you on which contacts will work best with your eyes. Things to consider are the lenses’ material, diameter, dioptres power and base curve radius.
